"Photography is more than just capturing light; it’s a masterclass in mindfulness. It has taught me the sheer power of observation and the magic of looking at the exact same thing from a completely different perspective."

I spend my days deep in the rigid, hyper-logical world of Data and AI Governance, and the rest of my time trying to capture the messy, unpredictable art of living through my camera. I’m not entirely sure why anyone would want to spend their precious screen time reading my thoughts, but if you’re curious about what happens when a data nerd tries his hand at philosophy and pixels, you’ve stumbled into the right place.
My story started in the vibrant, bustling streets of Lahore, Pakistan, but my passport started getting stamps when I was just five years old. Thanks to my father’s job, I spent my childhood exploring world before heading back to Lahore for university and the launch of my career. Since then, I’ve been a true global nomad. I have been roaming around the world for projects through my first company, then lived in Saudi Arabia, soaked in the culture of Malaysia, navigated the futuristic skyline of Dubai, and finally dropped anchor in the beautiful harbor city of Sydney, Australia. Every single time zone, culture, and city I’ve experienced, has added a new layer to how I see the world.
By day, I navigate the complex, logical, and ever-evolving world of data. I’ve spent the last 25 years moving from the deeply technical trenches of data management to the strategic heights of Data & AI Governance. But there is another side to me—one that has been my constant companion since the late ’90s: My Photography.
This space is my digital canvas. It’s where my analytical mind meets my creative spirit. Here, you’ll find a wonderfully unpredictable mix of my life:
When my head isn’t buried in data and my eye isn’t glued to a viewfinder, I am usually devouring a good book, getting entirely too invested in a movie, or spending time with my absolute lifeline—my teenage daughter, who does an excellent job of keeping me grounded and constantly shifting my perspective in the best ways possible. I created this site to share, to reflect, and most importantly, to connect. So, take a look around, explore my thoughts and photos, and let’s get curious about the beautiful, messy, and fascinating picture of life together.
Welcome to my journey!
